Manage ETH Postdoctoral Fellowships

In the decision letter you will find all relevant information about how to start your fellowship and receive the funds awarded.

The fellowship must be started within eight months after the submission deadline. If you are unable to start within this timeframe, please inform the Grants Office as soon as possible.

For all amendments to the fellowship, such as breaks or earlier terminations, the Grants Office must be contacted.

The ETH Fellowship budget for research and travel costs can only be used during the active time of the fellowship. In rare and scientifically well-founded cases any remaining budget can be used shortly after the end of the fellowship. For this, the fellow must still be employed at ETH Zurich and the expenses need to be directly connected with the ETH Fellowship project. In order to monitor and improve the programme, ETH Fellows will be asked to submit a final report to the ETH Grants Office via the eResearch portal within six weeks of the end of the fellowship. The relevant request and the Download template (DOCX, 42 KB) for the scientific part will be sent to you approximately one month before the end of the fellowship.
